Emerson Chess Club

Let's play some chess! No experience is necessary. All you need to bring is a desire to learn and have some fun! We will teach you how to play and improve your play if you already know how to play.

• When: First and Third Tuesdays (Fifth Tuesday in January) from 2:30 - 3:30
• Where: Emerson LMC
• Details: Open to anyone in grades 2-5
• Dates: Oct. 2, Oct. 16, Nov. 6, Dec. 4, Dec. 18, Jan. 15, Jan. 29, Feb. 5, Feb. 19, Mar. 5, Mar. 19, Apr. 2, and Apr 16

Note from the teacher:
My name is Ron Last and a parent of 3 boys who went to Emerson. I taught myself to play chess when I was in 3rd grade. I was a member of the chess club when I was in ghigh school and played on the Oshkosh West High School Chess Team. This will be my fourteenth year with the Emerson Chess Club.
